Ask what to build.
Tell them when it ships.
Your users suggest ideas and vote on them, a public roadmap shows what is planned, in progress and shipped, and everyone who voted gets an email the day their idea ships. Free to start, live in 30 seconds.
Free forever. No credit card.
A live board
What should we build next? Vote for the ideas you want, or suggest your own.
Send replies from our own domain
Our customers trust mail from acme.com more than from a shared address.
A booking page for appointments
Let clients pick a time and get the confirmation by email.
Schedule a form to close on a date
Our sign-ups end on Friday at noon and someone always forgets.

What a board here does.
Votes from real people
A first vote asks only for an email address, and counts once its owner presses Confirm in the one email we send. After that every vote is one press, for 30 days, with no account and no password. A count nobody can pad with a script tells you what people want.
Fewer duplicates, merged when they come
As someone types an idea, the ideas like it appear, each with its vote, so they vote instead of posting it again. When a duplicate gets through, merge it: its voters count once on the idea it joins, and its page says where it went.
Everyone who voted hears back
Post an update with its new status, and each voter who wants emails gets one, in their own language. When an idea ships, link its release note from your Simplest1 Changelog. Every email has a one-click Stop.
A roadmap without promised dates
Planned and In progress on a page of their own, most votes first, with what shipped lately, and no date you will have to take back. Show What we are working on inside your own product, in a frame whose every link opens the board.
Underneath, a platform that is yours.
Your data, in its own database
Your site is a database file of its own, not rows in a table shared with everyone else. Download all of it, anytime, on every plan.
Undo a bad day
Restore your entire site to any moment in the last 30 days. Recent changes, to the second.
Your own domain
Put it on your domain with automatic SSL, from the Starter plan.
In your visitors’ language
Every word the platform draws, from buttons to error messages and emails, in 17 languages, right to left included.
An API for everything
Everything you can click is also an endpoint, with scoped keys and webhooks, on every plan.
Hosted and handled
We run the servers, the updates, and the backups. You publish.
Free to start, no price per voter.
On the free plan: unlimited ideas, votes and voters, the email that confirms each new voter, update emails to everyone who asked for them, the roadmap, the widget and the API, with one seat. Starter gives three seats and your own domain, and takes Made with Simplest1 off your board.

Coming from Canny? See how we compare
Canny’s free plan counts 25 tracked users, and everyone who posts, votes or comments is one. Past that, Canny moves you to its next tier on its own unless you set a spend limit, and Pro starts at $99 a month ($79 billed yearly), its price rising with your tracked users. Simplest1 Roadmap counts no voters: unlimited on every plan, and your own domain for $19 a month.
| What | Canny | Simplest1 Roadmap |
|---|---|---|
| On the free plan | 25 tracked users: everyone who posts, votes or comments | Unlimited ideas, votes and voters, one seat |
| Priced by | Tracked users; Pro from $99 a month, or $79 billed yearly | Each site: Starter $19 a month or $190 a year, save 17%; Pro covers every app for $69 |
| Past the limit | Moved to the next tier on its own, or new users’ feedback no longer tracked under a spend limit | No limit on voters to pass |
| Your own domain | On paid plans | From Starter, with SSL |
Canny does more: several boards and private ones, votes cast for a customer by your team, voters identified by your own product through single sign-on, revenue and segments to weigh each idea, and integrations with project and sales tools. If you need those, it is worth its price.

Moving over
Post your open ideas
There is no Canny importer. Post the ideas still open as your team’s, by hand or through the API, each with its status: open, under review, planned or in progress.
Ask your voters back
Votes do not move over: a vote here is an address its owner confirmed. Tell your voters where the board went; their first vote confirms their address, and every vote after it is one press.
Put it where users look
Link the board from your product’s menu, or show What we are working on inside it. Connect your Simplest1 Changelog, and every idea you ship links its release note.
Questions, answered.
Do my users need an account to vote?
No. Their first vote asks for an email address and sends one email with a Confirm button; pressing it counts the vote and signs them in on your board for 30 days. After that, each vote is one press. No password, ever.
Why not let anyone vote without an email?
Because a count anyone can pad tells you nothing, and you cannot tell people an idea shipped without their address. Nothing counts until its owner confirms, and nobody gets more than one confirmation from your board in ten minutes.
Can I review ideas before they are public?
Yes. Turn on Review new ideas, and each confirmed idea waits in To review until your team approves it. Off, ideas show once confirmed, and spam is one press away. Comments are always held for your approval.
Does it work with my changelog?
With a Simplest1 Changelog on your account, yes: connect it in Settings, and when an idea ships you pick its release note, which the idea’s page and the email to its voters link as it is now. With another changelog, put its link in the update’s note.
What happens to my ideas and votes if I leave?
Download everything anytime, the whole board as files, ideas, votes and updates included. If you close your site, you have 30 days to take everything with you.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Enter an address, your name and your email, and you are live on the free plan. We ask for payment only when you upgrade.
