A live status page

uptime.simplest1.com
This is a real status page, built with Simplest1 Status Page: it checks our own example sites every minute. Simplest1’s own status is kept apart from the platform, at status.simplest1.com. Open uptime.simplest1.com

What a status page here does.

Checks that open the incident

Watch each component with an address that must answer, a word that must be on the page, or a heartbeat your own job sends. Two failures in a row open an incident; the first pass closes it.

An email to everyone who follows

Readers subscribe on your page and follow everything or only the components they use. Each update, resolve and planned maintenance sends one email, and every component has its own feed.

A page that cannot be left wrong

A component’s state comes from its open incidents and maintenance, never from a field someone forgets to reset. The page cannot say Major outage after the fix, or Operational during one.

Ninety days at a glance

Every component shows 90 daily bars and its uptime, each bar a link to that day. Times are in your time zone and your visitor’s language, readable without a script.

Underneath, a platform that is yours.

Your data, in its own database

Your site is a database file of its own, not rows in a table shared with everyone else. Download all of it, anytime, on every plan.

Undo a bad day

Restore your entire site to any moment in the last 30 days. Recent changes, to the second.

Your own domain

Put it on your domain with automatic SSL, from the Starter plan.

In your visitors’ language

Every word the platform draws, from buttons to error messages and emails, in 17 languages, right to left included.

An API for everything

Everything you can click is also an endpoint, with scoped keys and webhooks, on every plan.

Hosted and handled

We run the servers, the updates, and the backups. You publish.

Free, checks included.

On the free plan: unlimited components and subscribers, 5 checks every 5 minutes, every email, the feeds and the badge. Starter puts it on your own domain and checks up to 50 addresses every minute.

Coming from Statuspage? See how we compare

Statuspage’s free plan stops at 100 subscribers and two team members, your own domain starts on Hobby at $29 a month, and letting readers follow only some components takes Business at $399 a month. Simplest1 Status Page has no cap on subscribers, lets readers choose components on every plan, and $19 a month puts it on your own domain.

Statuspage does more: private and audience-specific pages, SMS, Slack and Teams notifications, and metrics on the page. If you need those, it is worth its price.

Statuspage’s prices from atlassian.com/software/statuspage/pricing and its help page on exporting subscribers, checked October 6, 2026, in US dollars. It bills yearly only through a signed order form.

Moving over

01

Add your components

There is no Statuspage importer. Add your components and groups by hand or through the API, then put a check on each one the web can reach.

02

Bring your readers

Post a last update on your old page that links your new subscribe page. Each reader confirms by email once, so your list starts clean.

03

Point your address

With Starter, put status.yourcompany.com on the new page. Uptime starts with the first check, so keep a link to the old history for a while.

Questions, answered.

How often are my sites checked?

Every 5 minutes on the free plan, for up to 5 checks; every minute on Starter and Pro, for up to 50. Two failures in a row open an incident, so a single slow answer opens nothing.

How is this different from Instatus?

Instatus checks more on its free plan: 15 monitors every 2 minutes. Its free plan has no custom domain and stops at 200 subscribers; your own domain takes Pro, from $20 a month. Here it takes Starter at $19, with 50 checks every minute and no cap on subscribers.

Can my own tools post incidents?

Yes. Everything is in the API with a scoped key: open an incident, post an update, schedule maintenance. A release script can post a short notice for the minutes a deploy takes, and that notice is never emailed.

Can I show the status on my own site?

Yes: a badge for your README or footer, a small frame for your product, and an open summary at /api/v1/status for anything else.

Does my status page go down with your servers?

Yes. It runs on our servers like every app here, so an outage of ours is an outage of your page. That is why our own status is kept apart from the platform, at status.simplest1.com.

What happens to my status page if I leave?

Download everything anytime, the whole site as files. If you close your site, you have 30 days to take everything with you.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Enter an address, your name and your email, and you are live on the free plan. We ask for payment only when you upgrade.
