Only times that are really free
Each staff member’s weekly hours, their time off and your closed days, the time a service takes and the minutes you want between two customers, the notice you need and how far ahead people may book. Two people never get the same time, and “Anyone” books whoever is free.
Sessions and classes
A session is one customer with one of your staff; a class has its weekly times and its places, shows how many are left and closes when full. Cancel one date and everyone booked on it is told, with your line.
Changes without the phone calls
Every booking gets its confirmation, a reminder before it and a link to move or cancel it up to the cutoff you set, each email in the customer’s language. Your staff are told of every change they did not make.
The right time, everywhere
A caller in New York books in New York’s time and is told it; the clocks changing never move a booking. Each staff member gets a calendar link their phone subscribes to, and the booking page goes on your own site in one line.
Underneath, a platform that is yours.
Your data, in its own database
Your site is a database file of its own, not rows in a table shared with everyone else. Download all of it, anytime, on every plan.
Undo a bad day
Restore your entire site to any moment in the last 30 days. Recent changes, to the second.
Your own domain
Put it on your domain with automatic SSL, from the Starter plan.
In your visitors’ language
Every word the platform draws, from buttons to error messages and emails, in 17 languages, right to left included.
An API for everything
Everything you can click is also an endpoint, with scoped keys and webhooks, on every plan.
Hosted and handled
We run the servers, the updates, and the backups. You publish.
Free to start, priced by the site, not the seat.
On the free plan: one staff member, unlimited services and bookings, classes, the booking page and the API, and 50 emails to customers a day. Starter books five staff members and sends 500 emails a day; Pro, as many staff as you have.

Acuity does more: payments and deposits, packages, memberships and gift certificates, and reading your Google or Outlook calendar’s busy times. If you need those, it is worth its price.

Moving over
Set up what you offer
Add your services with their length and price, your staff with their weekly hours, and a class’s weekly times. It takes a few minutes in the admin, or one call each through the API.
Bring your upcoming bookings
In Acuity, Reports, Import/Export downloads your appointments as a CSV. Send each one still to come to the API with notify off, so your customers are not emailed twice; any time is accepted, as your team’s own bookings are.
Swap the link
Put your booking page’s address where Acuity’s was, on your site, your profiles and your emails, or put the booking page itself on your site in one line.
Questions, answered.
Do my customers need an account?
No. They choose a time and give their name and email, and the confirmation’s link lets them move or cancel it. To see every booking they have, they ask for a sign-in link by email; there is no password to forget.
Do my staff need to sign in?
No. A staff member is a name, an email and their hours: they are told of their bookings by email and can subscribe their phone’s calendar to their own. Only the people who run the bookings sign in, and a staff member who does may change only their own hours and bookings.
Can customers pay when they book?
Not yet. A service shows its price, or Free, and is paid at the place. Payments, deposits and packages come with the platform’s payments, which every app will share.
How is this different from Calendly?
Calendly is made for meetings between businesses: it reads your Google or Outlook calendar and is priced by the seat, Standard at $10 a seat a month billed yearly. Bookings is made for a business customers book: services with prices, staff with their hours, classes with places, priced by the site. If your calendar is meetings, Calendly is the better fit.
What happens to my bookings if I leave?
Download everything anytime: the whole site as files, every booking and customer in it. If you close your site, you have 30 days to take everything with you.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Enter an address, your name and your email, and you are live on the free plan. We ask for payment only when you upgrade.
