Tell your users
what you shipped.

A live changelog
What a changelog here does.
Every update, labeled
New, Improved, Fixed, Security, Deprecated or Removed, with a version and tags for each part of your product.
An email for every update
Readers subscribe on your changelog and choose the tags they care about. Each entry sends one email when it goes live, and RSS, Atom and JSON feeds follow every tag.
What’s new, in your product
Paste two lines and your app shows the latest entries with a count of the unread ones, for everything or only the tags you choose.
Write ahead, publish on time
Schedule an entry and it goes live, email included, at the time you set. Translate entries into the languages your users read.
Switching from Beamer?
Beamer’s free plan keeps its watermark, one teammate and no API, and your own domain starts on Pro at $119 a month ($99 billed yearly). Simplest1 Changelog sends every email on the free plan, and $9 a month puts it on your domain with 3 seats.
| What | Beamer | Simplest1 Changelog |
|---|---|---|
| On the free plan | 1,000 monthly active users, 1 teammate, Beamer watermark, no API | Unlimited entries, readers and subscribers, the API |
| First paid plan | Starter, $59 a month or $49 billed yearly | Starter, $9 a month or $90 a year |
| Your own domain | From Pro, $119 a month or $99 billed yearly | From Starter, with SSL |
| Priced by | Monthly active users, 5,000 on Starter | Each site, never by readers |
| Taking your posts | No export; through their API only | The whole site as files |
Beamer does more inside your product: popups, user segments and surveys. If you need those, it is worth its price.
Beamer’s prices from getbeamer.com/pricing and its help page on exporting posts, checked October 4, 2026, in US dollars.
Moving over
Bring your history
There is no Beamer importer. The API takes each past entry with its category, version, tags and original date, and notify_subscribers: false keeps it from emailing anyone.
Swap the widget
Replace the old script with two lines for What’s new, and choose which tags each part of your product shows.
Bring your readers
Link your new subscribe page from your last old post. Each reader confirms by email once, so your list starts clean.
Underneath, a platform that is yours.
Your data, in its own database
Your site is a database file of its own, not rows in a table shared with everyone else. Download all of it, anytime, on every plan.
Undo a bad day
Restore your entire site to any moment in the last 30 days. Recent changes, to the second.
Your own domain
Put it on your domain with automatic SSL, from the Starter plan.
In your visitors’ language
Every word the platform draws, from buttons to error messages and emails, in 17 languages, right to left included.
An API for everything
Everything you can click is also an endpoint, with scoped keys and webhooks, on every plan.
Hosted and handled
We run the servers, the updates, and the backups. You publish.
Free, every email included.
On the free plan: unlimited entries and subscribers, every email, the feeds and What’s new. Starter puts it on your own domain and takes the Simplest1 line out of your emails.

Questions, answered.
Do subscriber emails cost extra?
No. Every plan sends one email per entry to every subscriber who follows it. On the free plan each email ends with one line, Powered by Simplest1; Starter removes it.
Can different parts of my product have their own updates?
Yes. Tag each entry with the part it is about. Readers follow the tags they care about, each tag has its own page and feed, and What’s new can show only some tags.
Will it look like my product?
Pick a theme and your color, or edit every template from doctype to closing tag. The changelog and the emails carry your site’s name.
Can I write it with my team or from my release script?
Invite your team, 3 seats on Starter and unlimited on Pro, or publish from your release pipeline with the API and a scoped key.
What happens to my entries if I leave?
Download everything anytime, the whole site as files. If you close your site, you have 30 days to take everything with you.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Enter an address, your name and your email, and you are live on the free plan. We ask for payment only when you upgrade.
